L. E. "Scotty" Scott
L.E. "Scotty" Scott founded the companies that would become Scott Appraisal Company and Scott & Associates, Realtors in 1957 making it the oldest real estate and appraisal firm in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He has been a land developer, having developed the Hillcrest Heights and West Ranch Acres subdivisions among others. Scotty has been past President and Director for many years of the Bartlesville Association of Realtors, and is now an Honorary Lifetime Member. He has been President of the Bartlesville Association of Realtors, Chairman of the Multiple Listing Committee and chairman of most committees of the local association, has served multiple terms as State of Oklahoma Director, and was instrumental in the founding of the Enid and Ponca City Associations of Realtors, going from office to office to organize the formerly independant offices into associations, and has been recognized Nationally by the National Association of Realtors (NAR) for his work in this area. Scotty has been active in Residential and Commercial Sales and Appraisals and has been known for keeping some of the most detailed sales statistics of anyone in Bartlesville, a foundation on which Scott Appraisal Company was established. Scotty developed the Hillcrest Heights Subdivision and West Ranch Acres among others. With huge wooded lots, averaging roughly 2 lots per acre. Hillcrest, still a highly desirable area, has no tract or spec. homes; every house was custom built and most were architect designed in a variety of styles ranging from Conventional to Contemporary, Georgian to Japanese, to an old Victorian reproduction sitting on a hilltop overlooking the forrest a short distance from the river and Pathfinder Parkway, an elabotate nature trail off the beaten path.
